The World Bank's International Finance Corporation, IFC, is likely to finance part of the construction of Guatemala's Puerto Quetzal.
Terminal de Contenedores Quetzal, a subsidiary of Spain's Grupo Maritim, is in charge of the $160-million project.
The IFC will study the project in late March, which is said to require $45 million.
