World Bank to bolster Guatemala tax system

The World Bank will provide Guatemala's fiscal authority, SAT, with technical and financial support, said the bank's president for Central America, Humberto López.

The deal also includes loans for the development of social programs.

Among the projects are the renewal of technology in the country's customs offices, said Dorval Carías, Guatemala's Minister for Public Finances.
