World coffee prices likely to remain high for years

Strong demand in much of the word means that coffee prices are likely to remain high for years.

Strong indications are that low coffee prices will be a thing of the past.

New markets are opening up. Starbucks now has 700 coffee shops in China while it last month signed a deal with India’s leading industrial group, Tata, to install outlets in the main Indian cities.
