World economy's problems put squeeze on exports

The problems facing the economies of the United States and Europe are having a negative impact on Guatemala's exports.
This year through September, Guatemala exported $493 million of goods to Europe, a 9 percent year-on-year decline.
However, the bigger problem is the decline in exports to the United States, which is a very much bigger market.
