World hails Costa Rican awards in fight for environment

Within a fortnight, Costa Rica was given two recognition by the United Nations Environment Program. One was for protecting the world's ozone layer, the other in the fight to combat climate change.

The awards were made on behalf of the Montreal Protocol, as well as Champions of the Earth, La República reports in Spanish.
