World Youth Day went well 'but not a bonanza'
The tourism industry and the private sector in general in Panama were happy with the economic results of the World Youth Day of the Catholic church. However, it did not appear to have been a bonanza.
It was, most agreed, the best tourism promotion that Panama has seen in a decade.
However, hotel occupation was some 65 percent during the event, compared with earlier predictions of almost 100 percent.
