Seconds out in Costa Rica's big fight in dairy products

Two of Costa Rica's leading companies will be competing directly with each other since Florida Ice & Farm Co. (Fifco), better known as a brewery, began to make milk in competition with the nation's largest dairy, Cooperativa Dos Pinos.

Competition between the two began just last month. The companies have already prepared their pitches, and there is no guarantee of a dairy price war in the short term.

Consumers will be the winners, however, thanks to the arrival of new products in the market.
